Withdrawing money from cryptospace to £ UK Pounds Sterling

Just providing this quick post for people looking for the answers. How to withdraw money from BTC or other crypto-currencies back into fiat currency. Its unfortunate but sometimes necessary.

But its also DIFFICULT if you are in the UK. Coinbase does not allow native withdrawal to GDP. Therefore here is a workaround.

Revolut again provides an essential bridge with the ability to send and recieve from a EUR SEPA account to and from Coinbase. The steps are:

1. Sell back BTC into EUR from within coinbase or GDAX so your EUR wallet contains the sum you wish to withdraw.
2. From within Revolut, find your EUR account. Click on top left account icon. It will show your active accounts.
3. In Revolut: Go to EUR, write down IBAN and BIC.
4. In Coinbase go to 'withdraw'
5. Use details from Revolut. In a few days you will recieve.
6. You can then convert instantly to GBP and withdraw to standard bank account or via Revolut card from ATM.
