OMG how i love steemit.

Today will be my fifth day on steemit. and I have fallen in love, this has got to be the best social network I have ever been on, even though I am still getting used to the platform it is amazing how many nice people are on here.

When I first came to steemit I found I had to wait a long time to get verified, I really wanted in to see what the fuss was about, I had seen a youtube video and thought that has got to be amazing. I don't want to put other social networks down but when you get bombarded with adverts it can get pretty annoying, fianlly after a week of waiting my time had come and i got that gold ticket email. I did a little dance of joy. (my wife probably thinks i'm nuts now) and sat there for the rest of the night reading some very interesting things.

I love how user-friendly steemit is, so easy to navigate and even though I don't completely understand the complexity of steem dollars and steem yet I am reading through as many posts as I can, I follow people I want to follow and comment as much as i can and i have even told friends and family about steemit as i think they would would benefit from this community too.

my only complaint is the spam but once I got used to looking at peoples rep points I am able to breeze past them and move on to the more high quality posts.

while I have been on steemit I have tried to comment on every post that I have looked at, i find that when people comment on a post it make the community more about the persons work and to know that you have done a good job means the world to me.

so as I end my post I just wanted to say to you fellow steemians thank you for making me feel welcome here, I was nervous when I started posting but you all have boosted my confidence. this place is like a breath of fresh air.
