My Worst Ever Date. Funny Story.

Tonight, me and my wife were talking about old partners and some of the dates we had been out on in the past.

My wife and I never dated, I met her in the pub one night with my friends and we have been together ever since, love at first sight.

We were talking about how we never went on a date together, yes we went places but we never courted like the others in the past.

She asked me tonight about the worst date I had ever been on, I told her that there was a few but the one that stuck in my mind was with a girl called Miranda.

When I was about 19, i met a girl and asked her if I could take her out, she agreed and asked if I had a friend for her sister so at the time I took my best mate with me so it would be the 4 of us.

Have no job at the time ment that I had no money and my best friend Scott was in the same boat.

I phoned Miranda and asked if she would like to meet in a park for a picnic with me and scott and she was up for it.

I think she was more up for it than I would have been if I was asked to go to the park for a date but anyway we all met and sat and eat some grub.

As the day got on, scott and I decided that we would show off to the two lasses and throw an american football around.

It was something to do to pass the time as the date wasn't going very well, I think mainly due to the fact no one brought any beers.

Miranda was sat with her sister under a tree that we had used for cover from the sun while we ate, and me and scott had made our way out in the field to throw a ball around.

I have to tell you that scott at the time had an amazing arm and he could throw like a pro, it was acrate and on target 90% of the time.

Myself, well I shouldn't throw a ball as it would go a mile away from my original point and this was making everyone laugh, as I was just totally shit.

I ended up kicking the ball to scott and he would throw it to me as I was more on target with using my feet.

Scott shouted to me to go long, as he through the ball towards me, I got the ball and kicked it high in the air.

I don't know why the ball went towards the tree the girls were sat in, and into the tree it went.

Miranda was looking up into the tree to see where the ball had gone, and at that moment the ball came down and hit her in the face.

She fell forward and was knocked out cold.

We ran to her to make sure that she was ok to find her out cold and not answering us as we tried to bring her around.

A man walking past phoned for an ambulance and both sister went on their way to hospital.

I phoned miranda to tell her that I was sorry and the crazy thing about it all she said it was ok. we ended up seeing each other for about 3 months before we split.

When we did break up she said to me, that she found it hard to be around the guy who knocked her out.

And again I told her that I was sorry, but with that I have never seen her ever again.
