everything but the kitchen sink. well i was wrong.

I have been working in the garden, trying to make something that my kids can play in and also a sanctuary for butterflies.

While cleaning all the waste away that an old tenant and neighbour had left behind, we joked about finding everything but the kitchen sink.

We had dug up everything you can think off, we found spoons, forks, spades, glass, metal, bricks, rocks, concrete and other building supplies, this list really goes on and on.

My neighbour shouted me out of bed earlier today to give him a hand, I had no idea what he was digging up but I soon found out.

He was edging his grass to make it look neat and tidy, when he broke his garden hoe, he thought it was a brick and tried again and broke another.

When I got to him he had already started digging in to my boundary and his and I joined in to find out what it was.

I couldn't help but laugh when we pulled out an old style kitchen sink.

This must have come out of an old house or something as it was massive and really heavy. it took both of us to pick it up and move it.

A kitchen sink, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it, now there is no more joking about everything but the kitchen sink.
