Life is a mix of many surprising things—strange moments, lucky coincidences, and amazing miracles. Sometimes I wonder if it can all be summed up in just one sentence. What would that sentence be?

This is a dialogue and title of a Pakistani drama, really speaks to me, capturing the essence of my own journey these days. Life feels like a tapestry woven with threads of different colors, each representing a unique experience.

Reflect on those moments when you run into an old friend in the midst of a busy street. Is that a coincidence, or more than that? It brings back memories, suppresses peals of shared laughter, dents in tears that we have cried with somebody—moments that remind us of life's unpredictability and beauty.

There are times, which seem almost surreal, like metaphors of a miracle. They are inexplicable and leave one wondering in awe. Like a loved one recovering from a serious illness against all odds, or landing—out of the blue—the much-longed-for current job, they are the moments that make each of us stop and reflect on deeper forces at work in our lives.

Such questions click in our minds. What if? What if those things had been otherwise? What if we had met this person a little earlier? And so life makes us ponder these mysteries, realizing how minute patterns unfold in front of us.

Some just plain pleasantries are available in this routine of life, like a good word said by a stranger, some peace alone, or two arms that wrap you tight from someone you love the most. Small pleasures enrich our diurnal life like delicate strokes of a brush on canvas.

This is not about the big events of life but about the small details in between—those everyday moments that come together to form our story of how every new day unfolds with its own share of challenges and discoveries to paint something that is uniquely ours.

If I had to say just one line to describe my life, it would go this way: Life is a canvas of bright colors—beauty and darkness entwined. Each stroke gives meaning to the entire picture. Embrace uncertainties; appreciate surprises; believe that some are extraordinary.

You are both the painter and the public into this canvas of life, thus you design your story through each decision or experience thereof. Cherish the journey, enjoy the moments, and let life be like a masterpiece.

No matter how confusing or contradictory life may seem, it is well worth the plunge—a story to be written with each of our breaths and every tread along our path.

Thus, embracing the mysteries, rejoicing in the moments for clarity, and never to stop painting on the canvas of life—courageously, confidently—you. For at the very end, it's the journey that does just that: defines us in an eternal marking of the universe, echoing through eternity.
