As they travel, we see the struggles and hardships they face - from treacherous terrain to hostile border guards. But they are determined to reach a better life.
Meanwhile, in Mexico, Maria and Juan are also on the move. They pack up their small home and set out for the US border, hoping for a chance at a better life.
As they journey north, they encounter danger and fear, but also moments of kindness and humanity. They meet other migrants, some who have successfully crossed the border, others who were turned back or caught.
Eventually, Ahmed and Fatima reach a refugee camp, where they are greeted by Sarah, an aid worker. She helps them register and find shelter, but they can see the overwhelming need around them.
As the days pass, Ahmed and Fatima begin to adjust to their new surroundings, but they are haunted by their past and the uncertainty of their future.
Meanwhile, Maria and Juan finally reach the US border, only to be confronted by Tom, a border patrol officer. He is tough and unyielding, but also has a sense of humanity.
In a tense scene, Tom must decide whether to let Maria and Juan cross or send them back. He ultimately lets them through, but not without a warning that their journey is far from over.
The movie ends with all the characters facing new challenges and uncertain futures, but also with a sense of hope for a better life.
Overall, The Long Journey is a powerful and emotional story of the human cost of migration and the resilience of the human spirit. It illustrates the different perspectives of the people who migrate and the people who are trying to control the borders, and how in the end, the humanity and the longing for a better life is the common thread that connects us all.

INTRODUCTION
War is never a good thing. It brings damages to lives and properties. Just take a look at the way Ahmed and Fatima left their loved ones and their home behind, running for safety. I was so scared about their lives until I found out that this was a movie. I really enjoyed your story, sir.
Thank you for your kind words. I agree that war is a terrible thing and it is important to remember the real-life consequences and sacrifices that people make during these conflicts. I am glad that you enjoyed the story, but also remind myself that it is important to remember that it is not just a movie, it is a reflection of real events happening in the world.
