Overthinking 101🙃

I hope you're doing well and taking gentle care of your mind. Today, let’s walk into a space where many of us secretly live — the tangled, echoing hallways of overthinking.

We all get heroinized. A tiny choice such as responding to a message becomes a court of emotions in our mind. Harmless word “seen” turns into a war of presumptions. Overthinking is showing the same film with a hundred various endings, and still, being unsatisfied with each of these endings.

What is the reason behind an overthink? Perhaps, because we are too much concerned. Perhaps this is because the past disappointed us before, and we are scared of reliving. Over thinking will come cloaked in the name of analyzing something, but it is merely the anxiety of a person dressed up as a scholar.

You ask yourself: Should I have said that? What if they misunderstood me? What if I fail?
And slowly… you become a prisoner in your own mind.

But let me whisper a secret: 90% of what you fear never even happens.

The cure is not in controling every thought, but in trusting yourself more. Start by writing your thoughts down. Talk to a close friend. Or simply remind yourself: 'Not every thought deserves attention.”

Overthinking does nott make you smarter; it makes you tired. Life is too short to keep rewinding scenes that never needed editing in the first place.

So, take a deep breath. Let the mind loosen its grip. You’re not your thoughts. You are the sky — not the passing clouds.

Next time your thoughts go on a marathon, pause. Take a deep breath. Remind yourself: “I am not my thoughts. I am the one who watches them.”

Overthinking is loud. But peace is silent — and it’s already inside you.

Last week, I overthink so much about the things I just know. And it is really not healthy because you cant sleep and you dont want to eat and really dont want to talk to anyone.
