Item #1 - SONOS Speakers

While the brand may be a household name at this point, I continue to be amazed at how many people live without Sonos speakers unleashing their wonderful audio-fury on kitchens and living rooms across the country.

Going on 6 years now with my two Sonos 3 speakers, there is never a cup of coffee made in my household without some Hans Zimmer, Chris Cornell or Taylor Swift (sorry, its tough to find a genre I don’t like) playing in the background. Furthermore, I don't think there's a bad mood the sound system can’t cure when paired up with your favorite music service (see below). Sonos exploited the hell outta this idea in their Super Bowl commercial a few years back. Check it out:

I remember watching that ad and smiling bigger than the Joker before granting them the “hell yeah” nod of approval at its conclusion.

Come home exhausted after a long day? Sound and Color by the Alabama Shakes - Volume: 40%. You and the wife outta sync? Some Nights album by Fun. - Volume: 25%. Getting ready to work out? Time to bring the noise…Still Breathing by Dig the Kid - Volume: 85%.

In all seriousness though, take your life up a notch and go grab a Sonos product. They now communicate wonderfully with Amazon’s Alexa and pair up with damn near every music service out there. You’ll doubt my endorsement and the couple hundred bucks you spent up until you try THE Test Track: Mombasa from Inception Soundtrack - Volume: 100%.
