I heard that you need a pilot license to actually do it, cannot personally see why... however will get one if I need to, to have a go at this! :-)

I've noticed how all these guys seem to be flying their hover gear over water.. clearly not too confident about safety over land :P
yes, that's an interesting one ... I've noticed that too! Wonder what would be the reason for that, quite a heavy load attached to your angles if landing on water. :-)
