What made you feel I was offended? I certainly was not. All I was saying is that because you are reading backwards, sometimes you do not understand what is being said.
I actually feel flattered that you are reading....and I wish I had a few more like you around.

It is hard to believe not more people read this story. Writers and booklovers will for sure.
Might be they do not respond. That seems to be a habit: no comment.

If it means anything to you (i.e. if you know who she is) I think my writing has been strongly influence by Anne McCaffrey.
Also, I wanted my story to be as true to life as possible - being Cherinians and mentally and in other ways, linked to each other, it is only to be expected that love plays a very strong role in their lives. Also, by the girls being so young, it is not surprising that Robert feels compelled to show them as often as he can how much he loves them.
I hope that side of it does not become too boring.

Not the showing of love is getting boring but if it is already clear/shown there is no need to say it too.
I dont think I know this writer, will search for her.

(I think I have just killed the mouse - it went under the carpet so I banged over it with a heavy box. Haven't decided to deal with getting rid of it yet, but will do so soon.)
btw - we are very close to the end of Book2 and Book 3 starts with them getting attacked again...but in a way which makes Robert feel he cannot fight back).
PS
When I first wrote the books, I had expected/hoped someone would help edit them for me, and I expected the 700 to 1,000 pages of each book (13 of them) may go down to 500 to 600 per book.
Now it is too late. I am too old and of first importance is that I get them onto the Blockchain before I die. I am not doing too well at writing Book 14...so I may give up on it.
Why not give it a try and publish it yourself with help of Amazon.com?

I think you write way better as I do and know there are plenty of publishers (even well known one) who publish books full of mistakes.
Any idea how many words one book has?
There are editors here and it is not that difficult to make a story shorter yourself.
It's all about saying more with less words.
I still did not edit my marchmadness story. It is harder as I thought doing so by smartphone.

I have read and re-read each of the books between 15 to 20 times. Main improvements were:
Why did I take the pages back to their original in numbers? Because the size of the books was made part of the story - and the girls tease me quite often about it. Plus, each book continues from the next page number, not from page 1 again - as you can see, book 2, where we currently are, we are on almost at page 1400, which is the end of book 2 and 1401 is the start of book3.

Now we come to the final point: I have certain political beliefs and I am not willing to sacrifice them for my own benefit.
I refuse to have anything to do with Amazon. I see them potentially as being just as bad a threat to mankind as google, YTube and FB. I cannot fight against them on other platfroms, but then use them to promote my book.
I was given an interesting lead last yar - Chinese publishers who are looking for SF or Fantasy stories written by non-Chinese. They transalte, prepare the cover and publish, electronically and if popular, in hard print....and they take about 65% of income. Oh yes, the fact that there are 13 books they would love...which seems to be the opposite with Western publishers.
I was getting ready to send them the first book when they changed the rules: Now they only sign deals for books already published by Amazon.
Once I have at least 2 books ready (nearly finished with Book 1) I will create my own site and made them available for free as .pdf or .rtf or, maybe, as html(I have never used kindle etc). Many publishers use these formats....
So, now you know how and why I think as I do.
The present kindle seems to be new. You do no longer needvto buy the device you can read it on your phone or computer.
Amazon is not promoting anything. They are more like a tool. You have to do all the work yourself, make an author account first, edit your book, the cover etc and publishing.
You could better make that site first. There were most writers have one and meet.
A writer whithout site does not exist.
I heard you look better as an author too on Amazon if you have published more as one book.
The Chinese might be interested.
Take a chapte or two 7500 words and publish it!
Give it for free as a promotion (change it a bit or)
I know via the Dutch bol.com you can.publish your own book too and for sure there are more self publishing agencies.
