#Ulog: @artgirl 07-20-18, Eating Out During A Storm, Whew

Oh well... it's such a rainy day today that the road going home got flooded.

Met up with a cousin today. Since she's extroverted she likes to go out and talk to people and meet up and such. Well okay, it's not everyday we do this so fine I met up with her even if there was a chance it would rain.

She ate some beef viand for lunch and got me some nachos. Look at that cheezy nachos. She paid for the food so, okay. They know I got no money on me. 😂😂😂

And so we talked about random stuff and ate at the same time. I'm not talkative at all so she did most of the talking.

And then come time to go home we find out the storm and heavy rains had arrived outside. Boom. We had to wait 30 minutes or so before we could leave the place. Good thing they had various stuff for sale otherwise I would be really bored and annoyed to be stuck waiting for the storm to pass.

Look what I found!

I bought a P1,000 bill printed wallet. Hahahaha.

Now I'm never going to be out of one thousand pesos. Hahaha.

So anyway, since the rain was gone we went over to her car and was supposed to drive by and get my laundry before going home but then again surprise surprise... There was some floodwater at the level of half the tire high I think, or more.

She didn't want to risk going through the flood so we went around. And we had to wait for the water to subside because apparently the road to the supermarket nearby was also flooded so we couldn't go there too.

Guess where we went? To a cafe. With WiFi! Very good. Haha otherwise I might have gone crazy waiting for the water to go down. Ugh. What a day. But at least I got my new 1k bill wallet. 😂

At this point her other sister came by because she couldn't go to work due to the flood. She waited out the flood water to subside too. We had coffee at an almost empty cafe.

It's quiet and cozy but there's no outlet so it's not conducive for laptops that need to be plugged the whole time it's being used. But at least it's a quiet place to be in. So we talked a bit but nah I wanted to go home and wasn't feeling it. 😅

I didn't even want to go out because of the weather but hey this was just one time. So it's fine. No food pic at the cafe. Just an ambience pic.
