Pizza For Breakfast
You know what the best part of being an adult is? You can have whatever you want for breakfast!
Inspired by the lovely @vermillionfox ‘s pineapple pizza, I made my family personal pizzas for breakfast. I got up early to roll out the dough I left sitting, brush it with extra virgin olive oil and minced garlic and top it with fresh basil, diced tomatoes and lots of fresh mozzarella, so much you can’t see the basil haha, and no sauce.
I baked until the thin crust was golden and the cheese was melted. A salad of arugula, spinach, crushed black pepper and sea salt was tossed with feta and some good balsamic vinegar and fruity Virgin olive oil. I like to buy these at the Italian market downtown, delicious!
No one complained haha
What is one non breakfast meal you enjoy in the morning?
Looks really good, and I dont know why they told us as kids we couldnt have pizza for breakfast. I mean, you can have pancakes covered in syrup, but not pizza. Whats up with that?
Exactly!!!! I don’t get it it haha I always said when I had my own house I would eat whatever I wanted for breakfast haha

You as well:) And thats what I do. I just eat what I feel like at the time. Maybe Ill have an omelette for dinner, or a steak during the morning hours. Thats living life on the edge lol. I dont think there is even any logic to designating certain food as "breakfast food."

I love pizza for breakfast. Now I am going to have to make some pizza. I like a thin crust. I have never had pineapple on pizza. I have got to try that someday. Have a wonderful day!
