Another Side Of Me
I’ve been off and on on Steemit as of late. The Mr. and I have been working twice as much, my son landed an amazing job and we are all super excited for this amazing chapter in his life, but although so much good is happening there has been a lot of negativity I’ve been encountering, fending off and just trying to ignore in order to go on and upward. And it’s exhausting.
When family is very conservative and judgemental and no matter what you do it’s never good enough it’s enough to drive you into sadness and even think for a second that maybe you didn’t follow the right path.
But then I look around me and see everything I’ve done on my own. I also see a good man by my side, a son who is a true gentleman and hardworking as heck. My little business I started on my own. The teenage mom in white canvas sneakers who she made sure they’d last her two years because she had a newborn baby that was more important than fashion and with two full-time jobs has certainly come a long way. Sometimes you have to be your biggest cheerleader if no one else will be.
If no one told you they were proud of you today, please know I’m proud of you.

Sometimes others have their own agendas about how you should live your life. Walk in love and truth and the cards will always fall into place. Don't let anyone steal your power!
