Drawing to Demi Lovato

Hello dear friends of Steemit, today I share a drawing that I just finished of my favorite singer "Demi Lovato", I lasted more than 8 days to finish this portrait and I am comfortable with the result. This drawing was made as a gift for a friend who is a fan of "Demi Lovato" since she was little. Without more to say, here I leave the process of the portrait.

The image that I used as a reference for the realization of this portrait was taken from the Internet.

I started the portrait by making the sketch of the character with a pencil 2B, which is light tone and can be easily erased when it comes to making mistakes.

Therefore I began to give realism to the drawing, being like this first the face of "Demi Lovato" with pencils 3B and 6B, the first for the face as such and the other for the eyebrows and the eyes.

Then with a 3B pencil I made the base of the background and with pencils 6B and 8B I began to draw and give life to the hair, I also used eraser for the light tones.

I finished drawing the hair and proceeded to give light and shadow to the body, mainly to the chest and left arm with pencils 2B, 3B and 6B.

I continued working the body of "Demi Lovato" giving details of light and shade to the right arm with the same tones used previously.

Finish by adding details of light and shadow all over the body until it looked as realistic as possible. The body went through an endless number of corrections until it reached the desired one.

And finally I gave realism to the clothes of "Demi Lovato" and finished defining the background of the drawing, with a darker tone compared to the one I had used for the base. It is worth mentioning that as a last procedure I highlighted lights, shadows and corrected one or another detail.
