Animals and Polka Dots! Two Original Paintings By Jessyca Myers!

Happy Monday!  (If that's even a thing.)

I wanted to start this week off by sharing two paintings I did a while back.  

"Emma the Elepahnt" is inspired by my daughter Emma.  He favorite animal has always been an elephant so I was inspired to paint a cute whimsicle Elephant that reminded me of my little Emma.

Next up is "Twinkle Toes"  The story behind this is a little sad but I wanted to share it anyways.  I had a lady reach out to me after she saw my Emma painting above.  Her daughter was pregnant and doing the baby's room in yellow and hippos so she asked if I could do a painting that is simular as the elephant but in the yellow hippo theme.  Shortly after the painting was complete, she informed me that he daughter had tragically lost the baby.  Know how devistating that was on their family, I told her that I would keep the painting beacuse I'm sure that looking at it would just be another reminder of their horrific loss.  

I told her that I was confident that this painting would still being some smiles to people's faces and that I would keep it around so here she is!
