Strawberry-Blueberry Cheesecake

Hi everyone! I hope all is well :)

So for a while now, my roommate has been making cheesecakes at our apartment. Only thing is, I haven't been able to taste one piece of them. He usually makes them for coworkers or for his family.

Seeing him make so many, I decided to try and make one also. It was just a simple cheesecake, nothing fancy. I brought it to a Thanksgiving potluck dinner that one of my best friends @foodgurutu held. It was a success and people at the dinner annihilated the dessert.

Well... yesterday, while my roommate and I were grocery shopping, we decided to make a cheesecake. This time, we'd cook down strawberries and blueberries to add them into the mix before we started baking the cheesecake.

I'm not someone that bakes a lot, but I do bake every now and then. I can also look up a recipe and whip something up that way.

Here's the end result this morning.

This was both of our first time trying this out. I used my roommates cheesecake recipe and we just added the strawberries and blueberries. He told me how to make it and I put everything together to help strengthen the memory of the whole deal.

Looking at this, I couldn't wait to dig in and see what it tasted like.

This is one dessert I'll be adding to my list. I'm glad we decided to do this and it was a great learning experiencing for the both of us. We weren't sure if the strawberry and blueberry flavors would be too overwhelming.

The amount we used ended up being just right. This cheesecake was rich with flavor and one of the best I've ever tasted. It tasted like cheesecake that you'd buy in an upscale restaurant.

If you cook and you've ever wanted to make a dessert, try this. There are multiple recipes online and you can choose the one that you like the most. Strawberry-blueberry cheesecake is and amazing dessert that I would highly recommend to those that have guest over or some type of family gathering. We just made it because we wanted to make this kind of cheesecake lol.
