Snow Bomb

After a 24-hour long road trip from Florida to New York state, we arrived on January 1st, 2018 and a few days later heard the news that a "Snow Bomb" was coming our way. This was the first time I had ever heard that term. Soon enough, it began to snow... and snow... and snow... and it literally snowed 11 hours straight, without pause! I never thought that could possibly happen. Nobody ever told me that could happen. So we had to cancel all our sight-seeing activities and just stay indoors and stay cozy and warm and catch up on Netflix series or just sit around and have conversations and look out the window to check how much snow was piling up on the ledge, on the streets, on the curbs, on the parked cars...
