Why steemit better than Facebook

Today I m gonna talk about comparison between Facebook and steemit.
In my opinion right now steemit is the best social platform.
Facebook is more popular as it is very old but steemit will make its name very soon.
The users will increase due to money earning opportunity.
So what do you think about.

I don't think the average Facebook user will move to steemit. Steemit is a content creation platform and most people on Facebook are just posting status updates and lurking on friends/family. Steemit is better than Facebook but I also think that it's like comparing apples to oranges. Steemit is closer to Medium than Facebook in my mind.
