Back to the field - Reggaesteem Promotion in Venezuela
Today I bring you a publication dedicated to reggae music recently I've been talking with @josecabrerav who is the current ambassador of @reggaesteem, we have talked about several projects to help grow the reggae community in Venezuela and some Caribbean countries.
The topic I will present today is called returning to the countryside, a topic I composed some time ago and that is basically about how a country that had agriculture as an activity disconnected itself from so many efforts to devote its attention to the exploitation of oil.
As a musician who composes reggae Caribbean fusion I try to rescue the tradition of social criticism to emphasize my themes on problems that affect the community.
I have always been linked to social changes and transformations using music, theatre and photography as a cultural vehicle by giving workshops that promote ecology.
Awareness is the greatest of our virtues as we are scourged by the oppressive commercial system. I try to leave something behind that generates a positive reaction in people.
Back to the field talks about how oil is exploited and exported and then returned in the form of goods that not everyone can own and how those goods are produced with oil that in turn pollutes our natural water sources, forests contributing to global warming.
Welcome to ReggaeSteem .
Back to the countryside back to the earth. We need more farmers and producers.
