ColorChallenge TuesdayOrange - Orange Sky

in #colorchallenge9 years ago

Another sunset in "La Tortuga". . .

orange-2.jpg

The rays of the sun when entering the atmosphere, are
"broken" generating a range of colors that goes from yellow to violet (we see it very well in a rainbow). The range of cool colors (blue) are much more dispersed and go further, making us see the blue sky, while the oranges scatter less, making us see the orange sun.
At dusk or dawn the sunlight, being on the horizon, crosses more kilometers and the blue tones are dispersed much more, remaining the oranges (hence we see the horizon orangeing at night).
