BARCELONA STREET ART!!! Exploring the subconscious psycology of the city.
Subconcious Psycology
One of the first things noticed when I arrived in Barcelona was the amazing street art. Its everywhere. Every corner you turn there is some other amazing piece of work.
To me street art is something special. It represents the subconscious of the city. It is not commissioned nor is it payed for. These artist have no incentive to make their art but for the desire to express the deep underpinnings of their cultures psychology.
What do these pieces say about Barcelona? It's vibrant, colorful, grungy and angsty.

Definitely. There is the standard graffiti and then there is art. Something that took time, thought and effort.
I love good street art. thanks for sharing. And 'The Avalanche' not heard them in year, i saw them back yonder. To be honest i'd forgotten about them thanks for rekindling that :)

I totally agree with you! I've been to Barcelona twice and I really like it there, there are so many street arts even on the grill or the doors. I've got a few pictures of the street art too, I will upload them on my blog soon.
