Hello Professor @wahyunahrul I have read your all lecture about Airdrop. It was a great lecture with a very good representation.

By your class, I got to know much information about airdrop. Now, I am going to discuss about my Homework task given by you.

1. What do you think about Airdrop in cryptocurrency?

So, If we talk about Airdrop in cryptocurrency, then it is the best chance to get cryptocurrency without any investment. It is free of cost. As if we do not have money to invest but still we want to gain some cryptocurrency, then the airdrop becomes the best chance to earn tokens. These are usually carried out to attract many investors who are interested in the services.

If you want to be qualified for gifts, it is must to hold some minimum amount of coin in your wallet. Actually there are not only good and legitimate airdrops. But there are bad airdrops as well. So we should be careful while using them. The good airdrop never asks you to invest money and its fully free of charges.

2. How can we know about an Airdrop event so that we can participate?

If you want to know about any Airdrop event and want to participate, you can find them on many platforms. Many airdrops do advertisement which you can find on twitter if you have account on it. You can find airdrop event of Steemit and also there are some other social media platforms like facebook, instagram etc.

There are also many sites like airdrops.io where you can get information about airdrops and events.

3. Where are Airdrop events often held?

Well, all we have to do is to go to the coinmarketcap website. Here, we can easily find all types of airdrops like ongoing airdrops, upcoming airdrops and ended airdrops. We can find all type of information about airdrops from this website. This site is very beneficial to know about the ongoing, upcoming and also ended Airdrops.

We can check ongoing airdrops like kala, bnc, ethpad etc.

We can check upcoming airdrops like NT, derc etc.

We can check the Ended airdrops as well.

So this is how we can know the airdrop events.

4. Are all Airdrop events free from scams? Otherwise, how can we avoid the scam?

The answer is no. Not all the airdrops are free from scam. Then give you free tokens and not take any charge but tgere are chances of scams. The airdrops that have legitimate exchanges are usually not scams. But Some people use airdrops to gain profit from others.

There are some points by which the scam can be avoided.

• Many times, they promise a huge amount of coins. As we cannot get a huge profit like thousands of free coins from the airdrops.

• They also asks you to give your private key instead of public key. But as we know the private key is not to reveal to anyone. It is personal key and if you give the key, your can loose all of your coins. So, try to avoid this.

• They also try to collect the personal information and use it for phishing attempts. And if you want to avoid it, you should research about the project which is behind it.

5. Have you ever participated in crypto currency Airdrop event? If so then explain. Meanwhile if you have never participated but have heard of the Airdrop event, then explain it.(screenshot required)

Actually not. I have not participated in any airdrop. But i have listened about many airdrops like safepal airdrop but when i knew about it, the airdrop has ended already and i missed it.

I listened that many people has got 50+ Sfp from the airdrop. I missed it but my friend has participated in that and the screenshot of that is below:

And as u can see that this airdrop held in their official app and we have to claim sfp coin by completing all the missions provided by their app.

6. Give and explain an example of an Airdrop event that has passed and the airdrop was successful. Then give one more example that has been proven to be a fraud. (It is not allowed to take the example that has been taken in question number 5).

Successful - TKO :

One of the airdrop event that has passed successfully is the TKO token Airdrop. The AMA date of the airdrop is july 13th, 2 pm SGT. This airdrop became successful and the reward was of 250 TKO tokens. At the end of the airdrop those who have participated in this airdrop and completed tasks according to them got tko tokens and the winner selected randomly.

Fraud - KPC Airdrop:

The Fraud airdrop is the kpc airdrop which i joined by signing on the telegram channel. I also had balance in my account but still i did not get anything from that.

7. Look for examples of ongoing Airdrop events, make an analysis that proves that the Airdrop of your choice is good. (Screenshot required).

On coinmarketcap.com there are hundreds of ongoing airdrops that are legit and we should participate on legit airdrops only.

I have decided to choose the baby shark airdrop as it is looking good and it has 2000 winners and so it seems good for me.

8. Explain the steps to participate in the Airdrop of your choice. (Screenshot required).

So, I have chosen 'Baby Shark' Airdrop to participate which started from 4th july will end on 14th july.

I clicked on join airdrop.

Then it asked me to join their Telegram handle and also there twitter handle. I completed all the tasks given by them. After that, I provided my telegram username and twitter handle username and then, I successfully joined that airdrop.

As you can see in the above image, i have participated in the airdrop.

You can also check the total airdrop amount, total number of winners and the participants.

CONCLUSION

The Airdrop is a legit way to earn free tokens without any charge. By doing this homework, i got to know many things about airdrops and this gave me much interest. The lecture by professor @wahyunahrul is great and learnt so much from it.
