THE OTHER SIDE OF ME
If I were to give to you love from the pits of Hades,
Would you still hold on to my enthusiastic fingers?

If I were to set you on a parallel line with euphoria,
Would you still say my name with Love?

If I were to gift to you sweet bitter vinegar
Disguised in beautiful ugliness,
Would you still preach solace to my ears?

If I were to break the chains gluing our souls together,
Would you still hold on to our dear good old memories?

If I were to let loose this monster of anger
To feast on your poor heart,
Would you still try hard to calm the risen tempest?

If I were to make you dance in the bottomless pit of fire-
Disguised as painful tongues,
Would your wings of solitude sail out
With your heart still staring at me?

If I were to show you something different,
Something about the other side of me;
Would you still say I LOVE YOU?

Just give me a glimpse of how strong your love is.
