Climatic consequence or environmental crime? Forest devastation

Hello, dear friends, fellow steemians.

A couple of months ago the geography of Isla de Margarita, faces a season of extreme drought, aggravated by strong winds, daily temperatures that exceed 40 ° C and water shortage by aqueduct.
But what is really serious is the situation at the environmental level. In each journey that I have made these last two months, I have seen how small vegetation fires are occurring along the roadsides.

The last 15 days, the increase has been greater, continuous, without control and without remedy in time, because we do not have support from the fire department, since the fire extinguishing units are out of service.
Now, there is the million dollar question:

Will these fires be spontaneous, because of the high temperatures? or
Fires caused by evil people?

Unfortunately, I do not have the answers, but I do have my doubts. There are many unscrupulous people, who are unaware of the ecological damage, or the harm to people. These last weeks, I heard that there are some cases of asthma in children and the elderly have bronchitis. This is by breathing the smoke that comes from burning dry leaves and garbage.
But the problem of fires, is seen along trunk roads, between different towns.
I love nature and its species, whether they are animals or vegetables and I always admire the beautiful flora I see on the tracks; I love the landscapes and the traditional customs of the people.

Devastation. How long to regenerate? I think that these trees are dead

Today I see with great sadness and concern, the depressing landscape. This month of May, the hills should be adorned, with trees wearing their yellow flowers. The edges of the roads, would have large trees that make leafy tunnels.
It only remains to hope that mother nature tries to remedy the situations that concern her.
Hopefully the natural clock will mark the time of the delayed rains and can regenerate much of the affected flora, for the sake of the creatures that live in these wooded habitats; for good of the environmental oxygenation and the ecological balance.
And above all, I hope that people become aware of the great damage that forest fires do to living beings, animals and plants that depend on symbiotic relationships, to live, according to natural law.

Every government must ensure environmental protection, guaranteeing timely assistance in catastrophic cases.
But, unfortunately, in Venezuela, the priority is not precisely life and less, the vulnerability of small species and flora.
In any case, we are witnessing a devastation forest and very surely with serious consequences to some animal species, such as birds and insects.
