California Sunsets #30 – No Sun
It was a gloomy evening at the beach with no sun, thus no sunset (see last photo for proof of no sun). Fortunately, I captured some photos from Sunday near Venice Beach.
Here’s a real photographer stalking me. Can you guest what vintage camera he is using?

I know where that photo of your friend is! That is right by Ocean Park Ave and Bernard Way! Crazy plant, great picture.
Holy cow. You called it! That is actually between Hart and Fraser Ave on Bernard Way. So many people take photos of that thing. It looks like a dinosaur!
Jurassic Park! Which goes well with the dive bombing pelicans down there. Do you ever see them in one of their feeding frenzies?
There are still there, usually in groups of 5 or 6 and fly in formation catching the updraft from the waves. It is quite impressive watching their skills both with flying and hunting for fish. Amazing how the fly up, find a target, dive right down into the water pulling their wings in as they hit and then come out with their bill filled with a fish. Wow.
I can visualized that whole thing! They get fresh sushi each day!

Stunning pictures! I love the colorful reflection of the last picture. I noticed this “stalking you” photographer having very unique vintage camera 📷. It could be Kodak or Voigtlander, but it’s hard to tell.
Thank you. The gloomy shot from yesterday, yes. sometimes it good to have no sun which means a deserted beach! Yes you are right that it is a unique camera. I'm going to let others also guess.
