Poker Tip Man Armen-"The Rock"
Rock: A poker player who plays very tight. It's normally very difficult to extract chips from them.
Playing poker like a rock has it's advantages and disadvantages. Playing against a poker player who plays like a rock is normally not very profitable.
An advantage you gain when playing like a rock is you don't find yourself in bad positions, like being out-kicked or losing your entire stack with top pair on the flop. Normally rocks don't pay players off. They will fold hands that most players can't get away from.
A disadvantage for playing like a rock is you don't get paid-off when you have a good hand because players know you have the goods. Also rocks are susceptible to bluffs as they will lay down a hand more often than most.
To be a successful in poker you need to find a spot between a fish and a rock. I would suggest to play like a ninja. I think poker ninja is pretty much self explanatory.
