Blockchain bitcoin wallet start-up raises $40 million from Google, billionaire Richard Branson

Blockchain, a Bitcoin Wall Street lift, Venture Capital Force Locksmith, Google's investment arm GV and Olancharda Richard Branson, raised $ 40 million. The company said on Thursday.

Investments came at the time of growing interest in Cryptkauerbeure, especially Bitcoin, which recently hit a record high and saw a huge rally from the beginning of the year.

Blockchain has created a bitcoin wallet that is basically a digital currency saving and software to deal with other users.

This will be used to increase the funding and invest in more research and development, Blackchain CEO Peter Smith told CNBC on Thursday. In addition, new offices in different countries are looking to open up to startup.

Smith said that recent meetings of Bitcoin have created high demand for Wal-Mart products in Blockchain and the fund will help them meet.

"We are focused on drawing really well to meet record records going on the market," said the CNBC in a phone interview by Smith.

"We started raising this round before the run up to the cryptmarket. It was a good time at the end because we were round off, we were on every level greatly. Our traffic week has increased by 15 percent in the week last week."

About 15 million sign-ups of Blockchain are "Monthly consumer building activity of billions of dollars worth of", Smith said, this includes inclusion and transaction

Gross income is thought to be more than 1,000 years in June, Smith added, but could not publish specific images.

Blockchain was established in 2011 and now users have 140 users. Its last fund raising came in 2014 when it raised 30.5 million. Other investors include Nokota Management, Digital Currency Group and Existing Investor Lightspaid Venture Partners, Mosaic Venture Partners, Prudence Holdings, Virgin and Richard Branson.
