Because the benefits are very much, this tree became very popular among the people of Indonesia. But unfortunately, sandalwood tree including a tree that is very difficult to cultivate, so that its current status as a plant that is threatened with extinction.

At the beginning of growth, sandalwood buds are plants that live on other plants, because he is not able to live alone. Therefore, now sandalwood trees have started very little population. The base oil of the timber is also very expensive as it is rare and hard to find.
