As a new member who just joined the platform about five(5) days ago it won't be wrong to call me a rookie. In the last five day, i have have done all possible best to get acquainted with the platform, had encounters with great persons including bots even had encounter with steemcleaners and blacklist. I do a lot of steemit-research and plenty of poke-nosing on the platform which brought about me using utopian.io for this post.

Now to my post proper.

As part of my poke-nosing on the steemit platform, I stumbled at a post by @biophil on SBD trading at a premium? Let's print some SBD! In the post I learnt a whole lot which includes,

• Recently SBD has been trading at a hefty premium to the dollar and its not really right according to the white paper.

• When the price of the coin is lower than desired, there needs to be a mechanism to reduce supply.
• When the price of the coin is higher than desired, there needs to be a mechanism to increase supply.
• Selling all of out SBD help push the price of SBD down, increase the value of steem and help get the blockchain right on track.
• Finally converting SBD to steem is not in any way saving the situation rather it destroys SBD.

  So i went ahead and learnt how to sell SBD now i will be teaching those who don't know how to do that as my own little way of giving back to the community.

How to sell your SBD.

First step: After you have successfully logged into your steemit account navigate through to your wallet by clicking on the avatar then click on the "wallet" button in the drop down menu.

On the other hand you can click on the "Wallet" button on the menu tab when you are on your blog page.

Step 2. Once on the wallet page, you then process to clicking the little button behind the SBD you have in your wallet then click "Market".

Step 3. Once on the market place you just proceed by imputing the price at which you are willing to buy Steem with SBD in the price box, the type the total amount of Steem you want to buy after which you click the "BUY STEEM" button to proceed.

NOTE The system automatically calculate the total amount of SBD you should spend for the entire transaction in the "TOTAL" box.

Step 4. After clicking "BUY STEEM" a pop-up notification will pop-up requiring you to confirm the order. Click "Ok" to proceed.

Step 5. Finally, you will be asked to authenticate the transaction. All you do is type your Active Password then click the "Sign In" button and BOOM ITS DONE!!

A pop-up notice will be sent to you notifying you of the transaction and when you visit your wallet you will notice a split in your SBD balance with the balance above showing you available balance and the one below show what you have in the market. Once your transaction is confirmed your Steem balance will be credited.

Lets sell up more SBDs so we can print more. With that we can bring the price of SBD down and then increase the price of STEEM thereby keeping the blockchain on track.
