Today I tried using the chat section of utopian. For those who don't know of the chat feature of utopian.io you can access it bu clicking the chat button at the buttom right of the utopian page. see screenshot below.
While trying to use the feature I noticed a few thing I will like to bring to the developer's notice.

1. The "group" option is not working for me.

When I tried clicking the "group" I received a pop-up notifying me that the I don't have access to that feature.

2. No chat message notification.

While chatting with some persons, I was only getting notification at the top of my tab but didn't know who was chatting.

My suggestion.

1. I think the group should be open to a contributors. with this every one can air their view and the developers of open source projects will get to here from every class of user and get thier project in the best possible shape.

2. There should be a more visible way of notifying users that they have a message. see my suggestion below.
