DNA coins distributed in wallets today after ICO
The start of July saw the introduction of the Gene-Chain Coin Token ICO, and the sale will end at the end of August. I participated, and it was my first ever ICO. The wallet came today via e-mail, after a very interactive and response #Slack channel. I'm impressed with the professionalism. The symbol DNA is I good one for exchanges.
This coin, in theory, looked to be a miracle of genetic science advancement. Becoming a solution to several key scientific issues, such as genetic information being easily traded on the blockchain at a lower cost. Potentially opening the door to many scientific breakthroughs and collaboration accross borders.
This coin would potentially also make hacking of scientific facilities, hospital, and data held privately more secure from hacking by using blockchain. The advantage to this was shown recently with the hacking attacks accross the globe targeting hospitals.
I thought the experience was an overall smooth one, and has encouraged me to keep an eye on ICOs is general now. Cryptocurrencies are really taking off.
How did you come across this coin? Are you going to trade the coin or hold it long term?

Good question. I researched it as well. I saw their partnership with NVIDIA, and vision of the CEO. I think I will hold at least medium term.

I hold most of my coins med to long term as well and try to sell some when they go up a lot or buy back when they go down a lot.
How did you get interested in crypto? where did you hear about it?
Sounds like we have similar strategies. I found it after trading in gold and silver a few years ago. I found it in YouTube videos of all places lol, yourself?
