Today I am happy to present you another of my portraits made with colored pencils and lots of love.
The protagonist of this drawing is called Marien, my dear cousin, who was celebrating another year of life, which is why I drew this detail for her.
My cousin Marien is a talented woman, a renowned journalist from Anzoategui State, - Venezuela, where she always shares great informative content. The latter has been a great inspiration for me, since I am a student of Social Communication. ๐
She is a very caring, nice and inspiring person for me in every way. Women are great! And she is a great example of this.
In my country, Venezuela, we are people with a large number of relatives, including some that we call "second cousin, third cousin..." being my case with Marien #1. We are second cousins! Distant, according to the family tree, but not so much anymore. ๐๐๐ป๐ช
Thanks to social networks we were able to coincide, she found my profile and my last name "Arcaya" caught her attention. She consulted with her mother who told her about me, and that we were family.
Achievement 1: My Introduction.
We got in touch and when I saw all her work, what her personality was like and thousands of other things, I became very fond of her, so I decided to give her this drawing.
This drawing flew to my cousin's place of residence โ And it was another great achievement for me, as an artist. What happiness and gratitude I feel when seeing an artistic work of mine crossing national borders.

Drawing Process
In this short gif, you will be able to observe the drawing process. Although it seems short, at first glance, it takes hours of work, dedication, many erases and changes, to obtain the final result, which is totally worth it.
Making this gif also takes time, because I have to take each colored pencil and match it to the exact part of the drawing, so that everything flows. However, seeing it finished is a great satisfaction and a source of happiness for me. ๐
