Our freedoms and rights are being railroaded more everyday.
I think there's something basic that is very hard for people to grasp (I spent decades of hard thinking getting past the paradigm myself). Our political leaders are not leaders at all when it comes to this issue, this global issue. In more parochial matters maybe, but global agreements, treaties, organizations? When this global machinery kicks in these people are not in the loop. They are more like Macdonald's franchise managers. They cook the burgers the way the head office says to and they believe the ingredients lists because its their job to believe.
But there's another, even worse factor. They and their governments are being given absolute power over their people to override any laws or constitutions which guarantee individual rights. The power of the bully is being passed down the line to ever smaller bullies as arbitrary power drips down from the top to soak into the fabric of society.
Doctor Tedros and his World Health Organization is a perversion of God and Bill Gates is a perversion of the Holy Spirit. Orders come down from this hellish choir of saints to all governments along with the Unholy Spirit of tyranny which settles upon the shoulders of our political managers "as it were a dove" [King James Bible]. Lo! They go forth to spread the Unholy Spirit unto the Public Health Officers who get to bully the police who get to bully us all. And the Unholy Spirit settles upon every grocery store manager and Walmart floor manager who can now call the cops if you refuse to bag up your mouth and nose and say you like it.
That's how the Nazis captured Germany and turned it into the Nazi Cuckoo-land. Bully-ism spread downwards to everyone, blessing them with a feeling of righteous public service and participation in a holy crusade for The Greater Good whenever they snapped that salute and looked sideways at their neighbour who wasn't snapping that salute with sufficient enthusiasm.
The longer this madness is allowed to go on the more soaked with corruption we all will be. You Americans at least have the cussedness that comes from a tradition of individual initiative. Canadians have always been parasites on your Bill of Rights; while sneering at your shortcomings, we have basked in the warmth of the fire of American liberty deep in your hearts. Now Canada finds itself the victim of "peace, order and good government" and suddenly we find that we don't actually have rights that can't be ripped off of us in a jiffy. Canada is ripe for the devilish harvest. Our hearts are too damn cold and self-righteousness and complacency turn into a cage.
I was once caught in a rushing and furious little river and almost drowned. By the time I worked my way out of the middle of the stream to the shallows where I could haul myself out I was nearly exhausted. That's how I feel now, caught in the middle of a deep and rushing stream of my neighbours and countrymen, witless as water, rushing toward some rapids roaring and frothing up ahead.
