New Trade War, Good or Bad?
This is a major challenge especially for the businesses directly affected in countries concerned, and consequently everybody else.
Is it a real war or just opening doors for competitions and solidifying national industries? Some go far to consider it a war since economic tools used unilaterally by one nation against another is text book war, economic sanctions fall in that category, especially by the strongest against the weaker.
But as in every challenge comes opportunities, this is no exception. I call on nations worldwide to secure their people's basics and engage in international trades with luxury and accessories. Most basic basics could be the food and security of each country, everything else can be considered accessory.
For example, You can't live without food or with no security even if you're parking a Bentley, a Rolls Royce and a couple of Ferraris at your palace's garage.
Sadly, many countries tend to depend on the good will of Western regimes in securing their basics, namely food and security. Securing these two means the nation needs to secure all the process from A to Z by its own means. Examples of such countries are Egypt and Saudi, the first depending on the US mainly for wheat to feed its massive population and the second depending on the US for its security, which Donald Trump is now excessively milking them for that.
What do you think of the new 'trade war'? Good or bad?

You asked so:
Welcome to this platform Barbara, you know I came here after YouTube terminated my channel and was looking for alternative and that's when I found Dtube, part of this Steemit. Wish you all the best in your contributions here.
We can only blame Trump for his unpredictable way of business conduct, but it's a lesson to all other countries more than to the US itself.
And as you hinted, everyone goes after their interests so no need to feel sorry about those in the West, if they ever have the chance they'll eat other countries alive and claim they're helping them.
