Are People Usually This Naive, Brainwashed or This is Trolling?
Whenever it is about how much the US people are informed about politics, especially their country's foreign policies, I always remember the late George Carlin's quote: "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."
A question on Quora falls exactly in one of the subject scenarios: Brainwashed or trolling, it goes: "Should we reelect President Trump in order to spread freedom and democracy to Iran and Venezuela by launching military offensives in there with our allies such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Columbia and Israel?"
The US needs to spread freedom and democracy to Iran and Veenzuela who both have a very strong acting opposition inside their countries, with the help of countries who never heard of the word democracy?
My reply there - I copy here to preserve my replies on Quora anticipating the social Q & A wiki platform at any moment suspending my account as they've done before:
I’m sensing sarcasm in your question since a country like Iran have all sorts of democracies, their parliament is very much alive, unlike the useless US Congress, they forced ministers out of the way, they charged others with corruption, and they hold periodical regular elections for: The super supreme leader, the president, the council of experts, the parliament, local administration. If you don’t know about that it’s because the western media never covers that.
Unlike Saudi Arabia, for instance, where they don’t even have a constitution to start with, let alone no elections and it’s absolute monarchy.
And who appointed the US to police the world and export its way of life onto other nations? The US citizens are in much more need for all those funds wasted in such regime change wars abroad. They also do not need the future enemies they’re creating.
So what was your question again?

The argument that US should export the democracy to those countries is obiously an excuse to exploit the resources of the mentioned countries, I laught of whoever thinks that US really care about human rights in other countries, they don't even care about in their own country of the rights of the inmigrants, childs, afro american people or many other issues.
Can't be causual that US cares only of the rights in countries with oil and meanwhile ignore the people in Haiti or other countries in central America that have more humanitarian problems than Iran or Venezuela.
But hey if someone wants to believe that US is our saviour and world police is welcome to do so.
