A Look Through The Fog | Original Illustration

Everyone has one of these days where most of the day is frustrating and there is this one great thing you did which fills you with enough joy, that you forget that you are having a bad day. Yesterday was one of them, hours and hours of boring work (just doing it as i need coffee all the time). No known faces, No smiles, no laughter. Got quite frustrated,didn't wanna go back home this early, so, I parked my bike and walked into the park. Frankly it has been more than 10 years since I entered a park. This little guy who was playing with his friends just looked at me and said hi in the cutest way possible.Just through those little brown eyes I could see how innocent he is was.

For a very short time I had flashes of my childhood. It wasn't vivid, It felt like i was looking through the fog. I saw myself when i was 7. I was playing ball with the other kids, was so happy smiling with all my heart. The sad part is That I cannot seem to remember their faces. All i can recollect from the dream were the games we played, those fences we jumped to reach a friend's house, all those little promises we made to each other and all the innocence we shared.

Other than the inevitable I don't seem to recollect any bad days in my childhood. That is because our childhood was the best. It was all about "do what you want without a second thought", those where those days without any worry
It were those days before society forged us into what we are today.
So pure we were. What happened to those good old days?
