Italian Cuisine Appreciation post

Back with another Italian food appreciation post. I have been with my family making some Italian food and I thought I would share some of my photography from the evening. Please note I'm no professional and this was what I managed from my smart phone.

For our dinner we made a caprese pizza, which has bocconcini (small mozzarella), tomato paste, fresh tomato and basil leaves.

For dessert our family friend made a variant on the classic Tiramisu recipe with chocolate flake replacing the cocoa powder for the topping. This is a variation away from the traditional recipe but for those who prefer less bitterness and richness to their desserts, in favour of a 'vanilla' sweetness flavour could switch out cocoa for chocolate.
