I am new to Steemit so I don't really have the confidence yet to create an article.
I saw that there were some amazing art on Steemit and thought that I should maybe start off with one of my drawings.
I have decided to create a fanart of one of my favourite character which is Saitama from "One-Punch Man".
There are already some fantastic fanart out there and this is just my attempt.
The drawing was initially completed with a pencil:
If you are a fan of Saitama, most of you are probably familiar with Saitama's expression on the left, which is a typical expression of Saitama and probably the favourite expression for many fans.
The expression on the right is when Saitama is serious, and his outfit is slightly modified to intensify the seriousness.
The idea was to contrast the expressions and see how it looks together.
After I took a photo of the drawing, I thought that it may be interesting if I edited the photo slightly, and this is what it looks like:
The slight colour surrounding them creates and contrasts the atmosphere for the 2 types of expressions.
The brownish-orange on the left somewhat explains a Saitama that is confused and speechless, and contrasting it to the icy-blue colour showing a Saitama that is ready for anything (E.g. an interview...lol).
