HF 21/22 has dramatically changed many things for Steem ecosystem. Appreciator started as post promotion service. We did tried to control bid-bot abuse with blacklist, un-voting but it was not possible to completely contain it. To further reduce abuse, Appreciator will now just promote your post only and not give you any extra incentive. Major changes comprise of following things:

• 7% of Daily liquid rewards generated from promotion will be sent to @steem.dao, to support onchain future developments
• 3% of Daily liquid rewards generated from promotion will be sent to @NULL
• Appreciator is not going to tax you directly and will bear this responsibility on itself and will promote your post only upto to the worth amount you paid for

Delegation Incentive

Payout mechanism will remain pretty much the same because we are already sharing large chunk of curation rewards with our delegators. It will not put much dent on overall payment because of change in Author rewards being 50:50.

7% reserved daily for @steem.dao can sometimes be transferred to any other good initiative on Steem blockchain which is playing its part in helping grow the whole ecosystem.
