A bed is an item of furniture which is effective above all for sleeping although it can sometimes also be used for lying down or resting. Typically it consists of a mattress with a bed frame and in some cases a headboard. Further, beds are available in weed differing sizes and types: twin, full, queen and king sizes as per demand of people.
The mattress can be composed of a memory foam layer, an innerspring mattress core or a latex core with different strength levels and comfort. Forms of bedframes can be different: contemporary, classical ones and additional options like drawers for bedding, electric adjustable beds, etc. are also available or catered for.
Selection of the appropriate bed is very important for attaining a good quality sleep since it influences a person`s health and wellbeing positively. Bedding accessories, for example sheets, blankets, pillowcases and cushions are also of great importance as they add to the comfort of the sleep environment. Finally, a bed is actually the person’s private place which is intended for sleeping and recovering the lost energy, if any.
