Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hey again and happy holidays! It sure has been an interesting year for me to say the least.
One of the most interesting.

A large part of that goes to the creation of the IFC which has changed my life a lot.
Though there were numerous other important aspects including a couple spirit quests and good time spent with family and looking deeper at myself than I was willing to before.

I just recently decided to focus less on trying to help the broader world and to focus more on myself for a while.
I was out of balance and I need to work on myself for a bit. And if I do this I think maybe in time I'll be able to help the broader world even more, though I need to get myself in better order first.

I think one of the main things that really jumpstarted that realization was the creation of the IFC which I mentioned, if you don't know what that is yet it's the "Information Finding Championship".
It is a game/contest/community that was created on the "steem" blockchain which is a cryptocurrency sort of like Bitcoin except you can mine it and accumulate it through various social media which have been created on the blockchain.

The idea came to fruition in January of 2018, though I had been brainstorming it for a few months prior to that as I was seeing so much interest in this new "crypto" world.
Essentially the contest is sort of like a mental competition, but it's so deep I could write for pages and pages and pages about it.

It got off to a great start and within a short amount of time I began to see the potential and it helped pull me out of a good portion of the depression I was dealing with because I realized how powerful this could be and how much it could help others and the world in general.
And afterwards I started to remember back to the past when I would complain about how so many peopl gather in stadiums to watch people move balls around courts in a physical manner, imagine what it would be like if they gathered in stadiums to help each other and to learn?

Now.. Instead of just complaining, I can actually do something and work towards that vision I had. And who knows if the IFC will ever become popular enough to be in stadiums or anything like that, lol.. However.. I do see really incredible potential here.. With enough funding I think we could be as big as almost any sport or game. Why not?

Regardless of how much me and the other co owners are able to make it grow, and who knows what might happen with it after I pass from this world.. However.. The idea was born. And that's one of the most amazing things to happen to me in my lifetime. Just the fact that this idea sprouted and was attempted and actually grew a bit and produced some fascinating results is a dream that I never knew I had come true. :)

Also.. I'm aware of two other competitions who directly admitted that the IFC partly inspired some of how they designed their contests.. So.. Regardless of how far we make it, that idea has already sort of.. Rippled outwards and who knows, maybe one of those others will be more successful. But it was that core idea I had that I think was so special.. Who knows where it will evolve, but that was a powerful and beautiful idea!!

And when I realized how powerful this could be I started changing my life, getting outside more, exercising more, eating better, sleeping earlier and so many things.. It brought life back into me when I had admittedly.. Sort of given up. I was pretty depressed. Largely cause of what happened to Amanda but also lots of other struggles in life as well and just looking at the broader world which is being polluted and destroyed and all the wars and poverty and animal abuse and everything.. Was just a bit much and I was... Not in a good place mentally.

I'm still not necessarily "cured" or anything like that, however I am a LOT better and I think my OCD is improving as well. The spirit quests also helped a lot and I have a renewed sort of energy to finish this life and do as many of the things that I want to still do as I can.
My next main focus is to work diligently on stock photography for a while and I'm super excited about this path, as I type this I noticed my first clip has just been accepted by at least one of the stock agencies and is now online!

Other things that happened were.. I got another tattoo, met some interesting people. Went on some awesome adventures with my brother including one where we saw a UFO for like over an hour.
Seems like the older I get the more profound things I learn, I wish I knew some of this stuff when I was younger!

Though.. I'm also grateful that I learned some of these things at all as many don't and that things were able to happen in ways that allowed me to meet certain people or do certain things.
I still have some major resentment towards the injustice in life, just trying to balance myself more in the other direction and not get too out of whack and out of balance.

Seems like each year I keep learning really profound and powerful new things that I never expected to learn.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the new things I'll learn in the next number of years!

Growing older can be a beautiful thing. Life tends to become so much deeper and deeper. I wonder what next year will hold in store?
