The North is advancing on us

Hey guys. Can I talk about my own one more time, about the view from my window?
Today is the third day of 2023. Already the third. And where did the 2 previous days go? It's like a cow licked her tongue. They have already become history.
Yesterday I told that I had been fighting with snow for 2 hours, but today, looking out of the window, I saw that the wind had changed direction and now a strong north wind drove clouds and a warm front to the south. The North is seizing territory. This is called "Christmas frosts".

Ребята, привет. Можно я еще разок о своем, о виде из моего окна.
Сегодня третий день 2023 года. Уже третий. А куда делись 2 прежних дня? Словно корова языком слизала. Они уже стали историей.
Вчера я рассказал о том, что вёл 2 часа боевые действия со снегом, а вот сегодня выглянув в окно я увидел, что ветер изменил направление и теперь сильный северный ветер погнал облака и тёплый фронт на юг. Север захватывает территорию. Это называется "рождественские морозы".

Do you know, friends, that the day has already gone to increase the duration? In a month, the daylight will have to increase by an hour. As the saying goes: "The sun is for summer, winter is for frost." Severe frosts are waiting for us ahead. That's why Mother Nature poured snow on us.
Now a friend from the Moscow region wrote me a message, he is also fighting with snow today. But yesterday afternoon they had rain first.

А Вы знаете, друзья, что день уже пошел на увеличение? За месяц день должен будет увеличиться на час. Как гласит поговорка: "Солнце-на лето, зима-на мороз". Впереди нас ждут сильные морозы. Мать-Природа поэтому и насыпала нам снег.
Сейчас мне написал сообщение друг из Подмосковье, он тоже сегодня воюет со снегом. А ведь вчера днем у них был сначала дождь.


8:28. The cloud curtain has almost completely shifted to the south. Soon it will go over the horizon and there will be a clear sky. The sun in winter means frost. I've known this since I was a kid. I think all Russians know this. And to be precise, everyone who has a real frosty winter knows this. So the Russians are not the navel of the earth in this regard. Joke.
And at such a time, it's nice to sit at the window and look at the street. And as a child, there was still heat from the stove, and logs crackled in the heating. And a large stove occupied a central place in the house.

8:28. Облачная завеса уже почти вся сместилась в южную сторону. Скоро она удёт за горизонт и будет чистое небо. Солнце зимой - это значит мороз. Это я знаю с детских лет. Я думаю, что все россияне это знают. А если быть точным, то это знают все у кого бывает настоящая морозная зима. Так что россияне не пуп земли в этом плане. Шутка.
И в такое время приятно сидеть у окна и смотреть на улицу. А в детстве еще шло тепло от печи, а в подтопке трещали поленья. И большая печь занимала центральное место в доме.


So my mustachioed pets sat down on the windowsill to look out the window and watch the birds having fun at the feeder. Probably, it will be necessary to increase the amount of food for these cold days.
Tomorrow morning I will go to the clients. This year accountants have big changes and they are preparing for them.

Вот и мои усатые питомцы присели на подоконнике, чтобы смотреть в окно и наблюдать за птичками, которые веселятся у кормушки. Наверное, надо будет увеличить количества корма на эти холодные дни.
Завтра я утром поеду по клиентам. В этом году у бухгалтеров большие перемены и они готовятся к ним.
