Ecology. Why do trees get sick?

For 5 years I have been watching trees become covered with fungus and moss, and then dry up and die.
When I bought the old house, there was a lot of lilac next to it. One year I regularly fought with the roots and new shoots of lilac, I did not even think that this is such a weed tree with such strong roots.
In the spring of 2018, I was surprised to realize that all the lilacs suddenly dried up at once and will no longer bloom! I saw the same thing not only at home, but also in other places.
About 15 years ago, I noticed that cherry trees started to get sick in our area. The same fungus is to blame. The branches began to dry and die.
Now I see similar phenomena with other trees. It's just some kind of fungal and lichen attack on the trees.

Уже лет 5 я наблюдаю как деревья покрываются грибком и мхом, а потом сохнут и умирают.
Когда я купил старый дом, от рядом с ним было очень много сирени. Один год я регулярно воевал с корнями и новыми побегами сирени, я раньше даже и не думал, что это такое сорное дерево с такими сильными корнями.
Весной 2018 года я с удивлением понял, что все сирени вдруг разом засохли и уже не будут цвести! Все. Это же самое я увидел не только у себя, но и в других местах.
Лет 15 назад я заметил, что в нашей местности начали болеть вишнёвые деревья. Виноват всё тот же грибок. Ветки начинали сохнуть и отмирать.
Теперь я вижу подобные явления и с другими деревьями. Это просто какая-то напасть.

Probably, it is necessary to remove all these diseased trees, so that the fungus spores can not spread from one tree to another. But it needs a whole program. If I go alone and destroy all these trees alone, I won't have enough time, and I might be considered crazy. Or the city Administration will simply bring me to administrative responsibility and impose a fine on me for destroying trees.

Наверное, надо удалять все эти больные деревья, чтоб споры грибка не могли распространяться с одного дерева на другое. Но это нужна целая программа. Если я буду ходить один и уничтожать все эти деревья, то у меня не хватит времени, а еще меня могут посчитать за сумасшедшего. Или просто привлекут к административной ответственности и наложат на меня штраф за уничтожение деревьев.

And this is an old log. Although... It's been here for about 3 years. Before that, a couple of years ago, there was a light wooden structure in which you could hide from the rain. But the young guys broke it up. Young people often want to break something out of boredom.

А это уже старое бревно. Хотя... Оно лежит здесь примерно 3 года. До этого пару лет здесь находилось лёгкое строение, но молодежь разломала его. У молодых людей всегда чешутся руки, им всегда хочется что-то сломать.
