The last thing we forget
A few months ago I was surprised listening to my 22 year old son listening to Queen, I was surprised how music when it is good in its realization can leave a legacy of many years. To my mind came that day when I was 13 years old and I recorded Bohemian Rhapsody from a portable cassette recorder, from a television, with all the outside noises captured on the tape, for me it meant a lot and became very coveted among my friends, years later my daughter also became a fan of Freddy Mercury, that can only be achieved with quality compositions without a doubt.
Recent studies widely publicized in different media talk about music as the last thing we forget, this was done in Alzheimer patients, in which their favorite songs remained intact and even in the case of musicians or dancers the memory of how to play them or the steps to follow remained in them a reference of the importance of music in the development of societies and its impact on the history of human behavior, tell me what music a society listened to and I will tell you how it behaved without doubt a very real saying.
I don't know if in the not too distant future someone will be able to say the same with the music that is made today, the technological elements and the transformation of society have generated this proliferation of easy music of short words of messages with sense to the air, without too much work and easy to understand and thus obviously easy to sell.
Music is a universal language of the soul capable of awakening emotions, sensations and memories, it can be from any culture or country; but it is still capable of making us happy or sad, of making us cry or dance. Only that which has enough creative force has the power to last in time and not get lost in the shelves of oblivion.

The truth is that I had not heard of these studies, and certainly today it is difficult to listen to good music and have a message that lasts over time, it is not listening to music for the sake of listening to it, it is to identify with it and that is what often defines us. Thanks for sharing
