The red Coffee

The staff of the beauty salon have always used the old coffee machine. It was getting old, but it still delivered reasonably reliable and good coffee. Every now and then, when little Franzi was making herself a cappuchino, the machine was making funny noises and there was bubbling and groaning. However, Franzi was never letting that take away the enjoyment of her well-deserved coffee.
It's been about three days since an unidentified person broke into the salon without leaving a trace except for the burglary marks on the door. According to the boss, neither inventory nor money from the register was missing. It seemed like the burglar just wanted to open the door.
The story was quickly forgotten and everything took its usual course.

Franzi started her working day like everyone else.
She unlocked the store, a bit cumbersome, because since the break-in there were new keys and locks. She has yet to get used to the shape of the key.
After entering, Franzi took off her jacket, carefully hung it on the hook on the wall and went straight to the break room to start the day with a coffee.
She filled fresh water into the coffee machine and checked through the viewing window whether there were still enough coffee beans in the machine's built-in grinder.
As always she chose Cappuchino and while the machine started to grind, Franzi noticed that the grinding of the beans sounded strange, but didn't worry too much. After a short time the machine started to fill the underlaid cup. But to Franzi's horror, not the usual roasted brown coffee ran into the cup, but a thick Karmesin red liquid. Slightly disgusted Franzi inspcted the cup, which was now filled to the edge. Disgusting red slime wobbled back and forth inside the cup. Franzi wondered what this could be but was still struggling to get closer to the machine.
After a short period of reflection, Franzi decided to open the coffee bean container to see if there is something in it that doesn't belong there.
Slowly Franzi opened the lid...
