How To Stay In Shape and Fit #1

Hello Steemianssss..

It's hard to lose weight. But, it is not hard enough. The real problem after losing weight is, maintaining and keeping the shape.

So today, I'd like to share a few information from my reading and own experience on how to stay in shape and fit.

• Cut Sugar Intake.
Sugar is used in our daily food and it provide energy for our body. Consuming just a little bit of sugar is ok but taking too much of them equal to too many energy. Energy that not used will turned into fat, resulting the out of shape.

• Cut Salt Intake
When you are trying to maintain your shape, try consuming less salt too! Salt will increase the body water retention resulting 'gemuk air'. It is a situasion where to much water stored in the fat tissue, making them bouncy when we hit them. To reduce water retention we must excersice so that we can sweat them out. Taking less salt also reducing common health problem such as hypertension.

• Exercise Regularly
Most of us have been tired when back from work. But, to maintan our shape and fitness, why not spend about 20 to 30 minutes to do simple excersice? Go for a jog or do tabata to burn the extra energy in the body.

• Get Enough Sleep
Lack of rest makes you hungry carve for food. When you carve, you eat a lot and lead to overeating. So why is it important to get enough sleep to maintain shape?

Hunger controlled by 2 hormon. Leptin and ghrelin. The less leptin you produce, the more your stomach feels empty. While more ghrelin will stimulate hunger. It also reduce the amount of calories you burn from exercise and increasing the amount fat you store. The reading I made from Journal of Clinical Endocrinoloy and Metabolism found that sleeping less than six hours triggers the area of your brain that increases your carve and what more suprising is, it also depressing leptin and stimulatingp ghrelin.

Getting enough sleep also important so you can have enough rest so that you can do your daily activities.
