A Day at The Museum

Sometimes it is hard to decide where to go during free time on weekend. Here is an idea. If you are staying in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah or thinking of visiting, consider to visit Sabah Museum.

I went there last weekend and I was impressed by the collection there. And today, I'd like to share about the things I enjoyed while visiting Sabah Museum. 

With RM2, you can have a full day pass to walk around the museum. If you are Non-Malaysian, it will cost you RM15 to get the pass. They open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. You can take photo in there but, no flash allowed.

Currently the museum is exhibiting a North Borneo Classic Medical Asset (Aset Perubatan Klasik Borneo Utara). It was started earlier this month until 30th April 2018.

Here you can see almost all the equipment used back then. All the exhibition item still looks good and shiny. I think the museum did a good job in preserving all the item.

Shortly after that, I went to the section where I enjoyed the most. This section shows a history  and infomation about borneo head hunters, the weapon they used in tribal war, and skull from man who was beheaded.

After finished walking around that section, I went to a section which show info about Bobolian and the item they used to worship the spirits.

Should you interested to know more, do pay them a visit. Not only can you see exhibits, you can also increase your knowledge in reading the information provided by the museum.
