I have been waiting for you to ask for help

There were times I felt like I couldn’t breathe the Devil squeezed hard, the spiritual battle was Hell. What’s worse is I took my worldly fighters stance and instead of picking up the shield of the Almighty Lord - I panicked. I swung for the fences, a left, a right, uppercut, round house to the kidneys, jab, jab and low kick to the knee. The Devil took it and laughed and he squeezed harder. On Friday night I was all but exasperated, my kids climbed in bed and said Mom can we sleep with you. Ofcourse.... I immediately fell asleep, only to partially wake awhile later with the Lord asking me, “why are you fighting this alone, I have been waiting for you to ask for help.”
Oh ya! #duh What was I thinking? I was thinking in my flesh and not in the spirit
