Coffe morning with @komenk81
Good morning steemian colleagues all In this post I want to share my morning coffee activity with @ komenk81 Here I get additional knowledge about steemit from @ komenk81.
Surely this adds to my insight in engaging in the world of steemit This information may be useful for steemit partners. Because maybe not all of the colleagues know.
Here I get the knowledge why the value of SBD from our post up and down. Previously I also have been asking about this problem to @ komenk81, but there is no definitive answer. And at the moment of coffee this morning, komenk81 got information from another steemit partner and immediately wrote to me.
Here's the information of colleagues:
The question is why the calculation of income in my post is reduced ?, it was $ 5.01 down to $ 4.62, what is the cause?. then it's good we discussed about the basic question in this article.
Steemit payment system may be somewhat unique, because (Number of Voters and Market Price) can cause a big influence to the potential payout that we will get. so how exactly does steemit calculate a payment? to get the answer please follow some of the following questions
- When creating a blog post, there is a drop down menu that says & quot; Rewards & quot ;. The default is 50% / 50%, what does it mean?
You can choose between three options for your postal payments: 50% / 50% - Half of your payment will be paid in the form of SBD and the other half in the form of Steem Power.
Power Up 100% - All your payments will be in Steem Power.
Reject Payment - You will not receive payment. - When will I receive my payment?
All payments take place exactly 7 days after your post or comment is made. - Why do my payment amounts keep changing?
Upvotes will increase payout and flag will decrease your payout. If you have not received upvotes or new flags, there are several reasons why your payment might change:
You need to know, There are a number of fixed STEEM created by blockchain with the help of witneess every week to be shared with steemit users as rewards in a rolling 7 day period. At any given time, this system makes an estimate of how much you will be paid based on what percentage of upvote and adjusted to the strength of Steem owned by the person who provided your postal outvote.
Let's say a content (blog post) is currently worth $ 5 SBD. But then, many other posts suddenly become very traending. The money to pay for the popular post needs to come from somewhere, so a portion of the value of your post is reallocated to this popular new post. Your post is now worth only $ 4.50.
Another reason why your payment might change is price movements on the 3.5 day moving average of STEEM. If the STEEM price increases, your post value will increase, and vice versa - My post says that I will get paid $ 10, why I earn $ 7.80 only?
The dollar figure you see at the bottom of your post or comment is not the amount of your payment. You, as the author, are guaranteed at least 75% of the total dollar amount listed. 25% goes to the curator (user who upvote your post). In this case, you receive $ 7.80 and the curators receive $ 2.20 - If I should have received $ 7.80, why I just paid $ 3.9 Steem Dollars and $ 2 Steem Power?
When you create a blog post, you choose the default 50/50 payment option, so you receive half of your payment in Steem Dollars. Half of the $ 7.80 is $ 3.90. That's where the 3.9 Steem Dollars come from, and the other half is converted to steem power at a higher price. in this example $ 3.90 SBD is equivalent to $ 2 STEEM - How is the distribution of payments (rewards) working?
Steem Network separates payments into two categories, rewards for authors, and rewards for curators, Author guaranteed a minimum of 75%. Receivers earn up to 25%
Author rewards paid: 50% in Steem Power 50% in Steem Dollars Curation prize payable: 100% in Steem Power
As mentioned above, at the time of posting, the author has the option to be paid 100% in Steem Power or to refuse payment at all - What determines how much reward curation is given to the author versus the curator?
Payment sharing depends on how long after posting is done, using linear function:
If a post is uploaded when a new post is published, 100% award of curation is given to the author.
If a post upvoted 30 minutes after posting, 100% of the curation award is given to the curator Between 0 and 30 minutes, every moment passes, more prizes are given to the curator In 15 minutes this is a 50/50 split At 3 minutes, 90% go to the author and 10% to the curator At 27 minutes, 10% went to the author and 90% to the curator. - I am upvoting a post at the right time. Why am I not getting a meaningful curation award? This is a complicated topic, but I'll explain it in an easy-to-understand language. To receive a meaningful curation award, you need a combination of:
Steem Power (SP)
High voting power (Voting Power)
High Upvote Weight (Vote Weight) | You should also post upvote before they become popular and after 30 minutes of time has passed since post Upvoting an existing post on a trendy page will not result in much appreciation of the curation In addition, new users with a very small Steem Power will find it hard to get a curation gift, even when giving upvote maximally. - Rewards are given to users for commenting and upvoting. Why not to share (re-steem)? You can get a curation reward from resteeming. Not directly, but indirectly. The rewards you get will depend on how popular the post is after you share it with your followers If you find a post you think will be popular, upvote, then share it to your followers. it will help the post become more popular. The result will be a higher curation gift for yourself.
- Now I get some Steem Dollars, what can I do with the dollar steem? You have several options:
Visit Steem markets like https://www.peerhub.com (created by @ steemrollin) and do treding. <br> Keep saving bethe SBD and sell it when the price becomes more expensive
Liquidize SBD is your bank account in the form of Rupiah
Switch to STEEM and do Power Up.
