Hello everyone in this special occasion!

I'm very happy about the fact that I could write this as a member of the family of Steem Sri Lanka. This month marks the first year of this beautiful union.

What I like the most in this community is the support given to the newcomers. Though I'm still three months old in Steemit and learning things slowly, You guys, as family memebers have never put me down. You answered each and every question of mine at any time.

I should say this here I have no facebook, instagram or twitter account and I'm a bit unsociable person. I don't have many friends to say my inner feelings. I was used to write and read things which are related to me and be happy alone. It was my boyfriend who introduced one of his friend to me who knew about this platform. He said steemit is somewhat like facebook and I was not interested at first because I'm not familiar with facebook either. However I made an account but didn't engaged much since my lack of knowledge.

I searched about the communities in Steemit and made posts in some of them but I didn't feel that I'm in it.

Finally I found you and you welcomed me. 🙏

Though I was late... I could feel that I'm in the right place where I can open my heart, my stories, my experiences, my knowledge and all of me. Though I haven't see any of you, I feel I have friends who read my experiences.. appreciate me and help me. I try to read all the interesting posts and participate in the contests in the community as much as I can since I can learn many new things. I always try to post original and quality contents. I had booming votes for some articles. I'm happily sharing the "Pissu Kanna" stories with you and your comments doubles the happiness. Because of Steemit I got used to look and think with interest and more carefully about things happenning around me.

Therefor I must say that this knowledge, happiness and psychological relaxation given by steem sri lanka is special to me more than the financial rewards I can gain from it.

Thanks to Steem Sri Lanka I could be a Supreme honey bee for the tricle up project which is organized together with Italy community. Though I had no much knowledge on it I could fly into the realm of supreme dragonfly by playing well and increasing my steem power with the support of both communities.

I'm still not financially stable as I'm junior lawyer and facing the Covid 19 pandemic. So I think Steemit would be a better option to me to earn additional income.

I know I have a lot more to learn and I'm sure you all will help me to go further. Steem Sri Lanka has done many social projects as a team. It is pleasure to be here to join you in future projects and wish to be as a part of this family for a long period of time.
